Shadowex, I think a lot of it is just the fashion of the day. In the 50s and 60s women with large, pendulous breasts and curvy waists and hips were fashionable. Today they would be considered too fat for mainstream erotic photography. But when you look at most of the photos posted here from the 20s and 30s, you notice that the women are thinner with smaller breasts, much like what it popular today...except for the silicone and shaved pubii. ( i dunno if that is a word, but i like it)
