I actually like hunting small game too. Its more about being quick and accurate rather than the slow stalk (or long wait, but I hate that kind of hunting).
Plus, I have one of those older pellet guns before they wussified them. I don't think people even know about them anymore. They have a huge spring that you cock back by breaking the barrel. This builds up *massive* pressure. Not like those BB guns that need to be pumped up multiple times.
I have a really nice one. Made of steel and wood unlike all this plastic crap. Even though its only a small pellet, its FPS is so high that its illegal shoot within several miles of any houses (it even has a small recoil similar to a .22LR). I've had it for like 15 years, thing still shoots wonderfully. I've bagged many many squirrels and prairie dogs with it. And best of all ammo is super cheap!
