I do have some pics on here of the chins, but not on this computer, here are some recent pics from the rescue website:
Chinchillas are very intelligent. They have a 4-month gestation period. Unlike rats, they come out fully formed with hair, eyes open, ears open. They are like toddlers--inquisitive, demanding, endearing. I had had rats before, and they are some similarities. Both are very clean and social, easily trainable.
