Well, knowing Apple, they will have a new iPhone coming out this year because they tend to release a new one each year, if I recall correctly. I don't know what they will have as upgrades from the iPhone 4 to their new iteration but I'm sure they will be worth waiting for.

I also don't know if Apple has some sort of deal with AT&T saying that they will get the next generation of phone as an exclusive for a certain period of time before releasing it to Verizon but if AT&T and Verizon get the new phone at the same time then I would say that it would definitely be worth it to wait. This is all speculation on my part though, maybe someone else will know more.
