Second cousins ain't so bad I guess, it would gross me out as I wouldn't be able to get past thinking about how we were related, but really if it doesn't bother you it shouldn't be a problem. First cousins would be a bit more weird I think. I say follow your heart and ignore what everyone else thinks.
