At Flagler College, I picked up a presence. It went with me for a few years after I graduated. My alarm clock would turn off when classes were cancelled, someone sat on my bed in the middle of the night, several roommates also had something touch them or sit on their beds at night. My cat used to yammer on talking to whomever it was and rub against its legs... you could actually see the fur indent just like the edge of the bed would do. Doesn't happen any more, so I don't think about it much.
I don't want to understand the healing powers of pho or why a grilled cheese-and-ham sandwich with pickle slices, dipped in yellow mustard tastes better than a filet sometimes.
