I was in a car accident earlier this year, and ended up with a misaligned pelvis at the sacroiliac joint. One treatment from a physical therapist fixed it. She noted that mine was an acute problem (i.e., from an accident and a short time ago), and if it was a chronic issue, it might have taken three or four treatments.
