theres a heap of us insomniacs here on TFP. I could rattle a few off the top of my head.
usually with insomnia, there is an underlying reason why you're not sleeping. If you treat that, you can generally fix your insomnia and work your way back to reasonably good sleeping patterns.
just a few questions for you to ask yourself if you havent already..
when did it start?
do you know the reason why your not sleeping? exams? work stress?...
is it intermittant sleep? or just no sleep at all?
on nights that you sleep well, what has been different in your habits to let you sleep?
