Yeah, I'll respond to that.
This is a specific advice thread. If Makhnov had come in to re-raise the question with his own perspective, I could see re-raising the question. But he's asking the OP to respond to him, and I seriously doubt the OP is still around. I didn't want Makhnov to be disappointed that he didn't get a response.
I don't mind an old thread coming back for good reason. It happens all the time.
