I've learned to love my hair. In middle school I was teased regularly by 2 7th grade nerds on my bus route for my poofy hair (Afro-Poof forever!). Now that I'm older, I know a lot more about what haircuts work, what products work, and how to style it to get the look that I want--when I want a look. Still remembering middle school, I'm always surprised when someone comments on how much they love my hair. ZS can attest to the fact that while we were out once, some random blonde chick came up and started PETTING my hair. That was weird. A couple weeks ago while out for lunch, the cashier at the burrito place asked what I did to make my hair so bouncy, "Umm...nothing?" She was so disappointed to find out that it wasn't some magic product.
