Honestly some of the kinect lineup is piquing my interest, and i'd love to see companies expand in to both the ps and xb platforms with more commercial interests in the platform.
Could you imagine for example, p90x in conjunction with the move or kinect? I know there is already some sort of fitness example on kinect but from the reviews, it's pretty crappy at detecting the things it's supposed to be detecting at times.
Could be good for lots of things in more intricate detail as the tech gets better, teaching things like sign language, martial arts, etc..
I understand these are gaming platforms 1st and foremost, but this tech is capable of a whole hell of a lot more.
If they ever come out with a move 2.0 they could definately upgrade the quality/functionality of the camera. A higher definition camera would be a great start. I guess the reason it runs in the resolution that it runs in now is due to the FPS target being as high as it is. I guess they can't really keep the price point down too much if they start using high end cameras with high frame rates though.
Time will tell. This stuff will look great in 10 years, and i'll be in my 40's *sigh* I had to end my post on a self depressing note
