double smoked bacon
I've had this stuff before when visiting my Hungarian relatives in Ohio, but this last time I visited a few weeks ago my dearest uncle sent a slab home with me. This double smoked bacon is the most lucious, tender, tasty bacon I've ever had. It's never tough and has a bit of extra smokiness due to the double hit. Highly recommended to all bacon lovers...a must try. I find it tastes so good (and tender) just cutting slices from the slab that I don't ever fry it. With a nice crusty bread and a few slices of double smoked, it's a very enjoyable sandwich. A couple days ago my dearest wife made a type of lentil and barely soup so I just cut pieces of this double smoked bacon and dropped them into the hot soup...melts in your mouth tasty goodness. I'm starting to drool just thinking about it.
