I seem to remember hearing that Verizon was keeping their network in better shape than AT&T because Verizon includes certain governors and limiters in their system. It will be interesting to see, if true, if Verizon's network holds up with the iPhone included. (I'm sure that Jobs won't allow Verizon to limit the iPhone's operation.)

I've never noticed any governing of my data usage. My roommate has an iPhone 4 with ATT and I have a Motorola Droid and I can say that my phone constantly has faster internet connections than his does. I don't know, this area might not be the best for ATT people, at least thats what people who I know that have it say so YMMV.
