I've seen one hell of a lot of concerts. The blues wasn't all that popular in the early 70's, major artists used to play the suburbs on weekdays. I saw Muddy Waters, Albert King, Buddy Guy, and others in sleazy suburban bars that had very liberal carding policy (got money? we'll serve you). For major concerts, any of 3 Pink Floyd shows would be best.
I usually walk out of bad shows. The worst was probably Uriah Heep backed up by Earth, Wind, and Fire. 70's black power and heavy metal (for the time) was not a good mix. Knife fight about 20 seats over when the stoners booed the backup band. Uriah Heep were more loaded than I was (which was an accomplishment at the time).
