when you said gravity, i think you meant horizontal momentum. gravity is caused my objects with mass, spinning or otherwise. while momentum is caused by a body moving quickly, if its in a circular path, it feels like you're getting sucked away from the center. this is also the so-called "centrifugal force" but thats not real either, its just the inertia the object had resisting a change in direction.
sry to be a nazi about this, but physics mistakes are a pet peeve
