I was under the impression that the hormones in bc pills wouldn't affect a pregnancy if you were to take them unknowingly in the first trimester. I could be wrong of course but I've never been told to take a test regularly because of possible complications.
As for the op, what is normal for you? Some women start the first day of the placebos and some start on the last day. The more important thing us what you normally experience. Try tracking your period for a few months and see what the trend is. And relax.
