Just saying thanks to Lasereth for keeping this thread alive and accurate.
I was in here over two years ago and grabbed the 9600 gt, its held up pretty well.
But now, with an i7 processor, I am currently nowhere near my computers potential. Its time to unleash the beast!
I'm going to grab 2x Radeon 4850 cards.

I checked this thread a few months ago, and sadly, theres no change in my price range.
I find it kind of amusing that I can do more/better with two $100 cards, than I could with one $300 card. And there's no way I'd spend $300 on a video card. a processor, maybe, but never a video card. (not until I'm rich ^_^ haha)
