I wouldn't be so strict about cheesy songs. If Auntie Martha wants to dance the Boot Scootin' Boogie, should you really deny her? You can take that opportunity to rest, grab a drink and enjoy the show.
We were strict about our playlist going in but thankfully the DJ had the cheesy usuals on hand. It was quite a site to see our college friends doing a conga line with the aunts and uncles to Feelin`Hot, Hot Hot.
There was something for everybody and everybody had a good time. It`s a party after all and too much control is the wrong spirit.
