I keep forgetting that intelligence is a bad thing, and I believe that lack of respect for education (both in principle and for the people involved in the field) will cause the next generation to be a complete disaster.
Hopefully they'll rebel from their parent's socially induced insanity and all become wonderfully literate and articulate adults.
I can always hope.
