A Fools Advice
I spoke to myself so the answer'd be clear
A fools advice given from the monarch
I listened intently and heeded the words
They change when it suits me as I allow
I'm told of a place that lies not to far
A place of green grass and troubles afew
I stroll to the meadow to rest my stiff bones
And bask in the sun till I feel the heat
I drift off to sleep and dream of the night
When darkness is clear as midday sun
The moon smiles at me and welcomes arrival
I'm here for a while to see whence I've come
I maunder to earth as light's sensation grows
A knock from behind startle's me back
It boggles my mind to realize the day
Comes back when I least expect it to do
The mistakes of another have never given me knowledge
I've learned from the man that is running the show
