Did you throw away tens of millions of dollars to bang a Denny's waitress? No? You're not an addict. Picked up a random chick on your way home from work, bang her, then go home and bang your significant other? No? You're not an addict. Really, really suck at monogamy, no matter how you feel about your partner? No? You're not an addict.
At this point, you're so far away from being an addict that you really haven't even tried one of the gateway drugs. Just because you've tried cigarettes doesn't make you a heroin junkie.
Are you like 14 and haven't figured this all out yet or just a late bloomer? No harm either way, since I'd fall into the latter catagory myself.
