It wasn't always that way ICER. The Red Sox recent popularity has a LOT to do with how good they've been over last decade, I remember the days of empty seats quite well...back when you didn't want to admit you were a Sox fan and everyone thought Fenway Park was an eyesore. I'm sure if they don't reel in another World Series title in the next couple of seasons the bandwagoners will start drifting away.
So how do you feel about the Rangers chances this year? Think a World Series might be in the cards? I admittedly don't follow the AL West all that closely but it seems like there isn't too much standing in the way of at least a post season trip. The Angles aren't doing THAT great and Seattle(especially) and Oakland both seem to be having underwhelming seasons. I've always liked the Rangers, I've been to see them a few times when I was in the area and always had a blast, great ballpark.
