I was going on blah blah blah about it (see below) but then suddenly searched a bit and learned that I didn't know what I was blah'ing about.
The most obvious visible difference between the two groups is that porpoises have flattened, spade-shaped teeth distinct from the conical teeth of dolphins, and shorter beaks.
Before reading a bit I was going to say:
