Right, Lindy, I reviewed that thread before posting this one and I was able to do some of the things on the list, but not having a car was a significant impairment. I was not able to hit any of the BBQ joints as they weren't within walking distance. I took a cab to the museum which was retarded expensive and explored Union Station and the Hallmark Center areas.
This year I know where I can get to, physically, so I asked about the G&L district and Hallmark Center, just in case something new had cropped up.
S is actually starting to view the SF leg of our trip as a potential mini-vacation and his mood is better about exploring and seeing what he's able to do after surgery. Hooray!
