Some people, the more emotionally laid back, relaxed, maybe stable, can take
weed and most drugs ok, little problem, more positive, surely.
But highly creative people, who tend oversensitivity, overstimulated,
overeverything - artists, poets, writers - can become paranoid in a way
that is not fun, not ok, not cool, not hip, not bearable.
This cannot be brushed over because its politically cool to say that a little
paranoia is ok, good for the soul, getting to know oneself deely and all the
nonsense. Be the highly over the top creative one and you are a goner,
which is why I think it should be banned except for medical reasons when
it really can help disabled people who, in fact, dont tend to be the types
to get crazy with it. When you first take it you dont know how it will effect
you, for many its wonderful, but for many its nightmarish and can trigger
and exacerbate underlying psychosis in those so inclined. There is no
getting away from the fact that no one knows what it will do to them til
theyve taken it, this is one case where I think banning something thats
fine for many is justified by the anguish and torture it can bring to many
others. I usually dont like anything being banned for the sake of some;
but where mental health, stability, sanity are concerned, thats too
important to mess with.
