If you've been trying for several minutes now, why don't you just click 'edit', then copy everything you've already posted in your draft, and then create a new blog post (of your draft) via a simple 'paste + clean-up' functioning?
Then after the fact, see if you can delete your now unneeded blog draft. Would this work-around be a feasible counter-measure?

all it would let me do is soft delete which would still leave an entry that I would see and maybe i'm slightly OCD but it would bug the hell out of me.

Finally, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.

I have no options like that.
edit: wow, no.. nevermind, I do have it. God even being told right where it was it was still too difficult to find for such a major function of blogging. >.>
just some feedback I suppose. /OCDrant
