I can't say it is about looks alone, although I absolutely can't argue with this:

but part of it I think is the indelible happiness perhaps - I find joy to be a very attractive quality. I can't say I've watched much pregnant porn - that just doesn't sound very pleasant for anyone.
I hadn't really thought about the stretch marks bit, though I suppose that's just part of it. +1 for Idyllic's post. Very very nicely said.
