I'm not discouraging your witty banter in any manner (overtly or subvertly, save for what you might have inferred from my previous opening statement). I just simply stated (though, this might be debatable, as this post's investment is a testament to..) I'm not one to do so, and I kept true to that.
I gave my take, but seeing as I don't live or participate near this Church, it's just news, not tragic (in terms of lives, livelihood), not groundbreaking, and not something I should feel
compelled to make into a joke just to voice an opinion towards.

Not that any real subsect in America is actually
this fundamental, but a few root-orthodox Christians might, in reality, be all the more pleased that this monument is no longer fully-intact. The "no idols" clause set forth in the Old Testament goes even for patron saints, Jesus and the Virgin Mary, and doubly as well as for the name of God. Real down-to-basics teachings. Whether or not there's actually a Church or diocese in or around Ohio that practices this, well - your guess is as good as mine.
