4. Given that you live in a rural area, it is unlikely that others would commonly adopt unwanted animals, especially noisy parakeets, weasels, and crippled cats. Perhaps they should have exercised forethought in purchasing the creatures, and maybe euthanasia would be more humane, but that is debatable.
5. Castrating an animal could be considered a form of cruelty and violence, and it also costs money for a professional operation.
