True, but they don't seem as odd as scrapple and I also love scrapple. A nice thick slab say ~1/2" thick (12.7mm to our metrified friends) fried crispy on the outside but with that warm, soft texture inside, with the prevailing flavorful tastes of the finest parts of nose, cheeks, and other parts I don't want to hear about; on a couple slices of toasted bread topped off with a few soft boiled eggs and a dash of salt, pepper, and paprika...and a few drops of Tabasco.
