The thing is, marshmellofluff, you're talking about high school guys. When I was in high school I wouldn't date fat girls. People would make fun of me if I did. (God forbid, right?)
After high school I got with a bigger girl and I, literally, got lectures from friends about how I shouldn't be with fat chicks because I'm not fat.
I grew out of these things. My preference is my preference and I don't give a shit about what other people think about it.
Granted, there are a lot of guys out there that will be douchebags until the day they die, but most of us get over the "everyone has to approve of my mate" bit.
