I think the correct term in this case would be artful porn.
That said...
Porn is (largely) photography. And some photography is considered art. Therefore I see no reason why images of people having sex cannot be art. To purport that it cannot be is indicative of two things:
1. puritanism
or
2. disillusionment from the consumption of too much porn
