I have to put in my $0.02 here. I tried the experiment you mention, as an experiment, when I 13.
When I was almost 15, I won an all-expense paid 28-day trip to an adolescent drug treatment center.
On the 8th of June (at almost 34) I celebrated 11 years clean. That's nothing - liquid, powdered, injected or stuck up your butt (yep, I did that). So my run didn't necessarily last very long, but it was a long run.
The only thing I'll say about your experiment is that, if you're an addict, you won't be able to stop. If you're not, you can have many interesting/dangerous/exciting/almost deadly experiences. For quite a while in my life using drugs was fun. Then it wasn't.
Know that if you get in trouble you can ask for the same kind of help or advice you've asked for here. Just remember to listen. It's so much easier if you listen...
