This is why sexuality is more of a continuum than slots, but you know humans, they love labels.
I really hate labeling myself. I read an interview with Michael Stipe as a teenager that left a profound impression on me. The gist of it was--why do I have to pigeonhole myself with a label? Can't I just love people?
I identify as a bisexual if only to make other people feel better. Personally, I see it as more of a case-by-case basis thing. I'm open. I'm not going to rule someone out as a romantic partner or interest based on their equipment. Obviously, my options are now a bit limited as I'm getting married to a man, but you bet your ass he's glad he has a girl who likes girls
