Both of these images have (or at least should be recognized as having) accredited authors.
The first image (.GIF) is a scene from
Don Hertzfeld's breakout student, and lauded animation,
Rejected.
The second image is a creation from
Brock Davis, an excerpt from his very notable (at least in my eyes) portfolio endeavor,
"Make Something Cool Everyday".
