It stars Philip Seymore Hoffman, his first staring role if I am correct. He is absolutely amazing in it, he is a brilliant actor, and without a doubt he carries this entire film.
The film is about this guy, Wilson, whose wife is after commiting suicide. He finds her suicide note, but doesn't want to open it, for fear of what it might say.
The biggest problem with this film, in my opinion, is the script. It doesn't seem to go anywhere, and meanders around aimlessly.
The direction was average I guess, but the music was used terribly!
The ending was very predictible. Maybe not that, that
exact ending was going to happen, but you could definately tell, it was going to be that sort of an ending...if you get me!
Its worth getting, purely to see Philip Seymore Hoffman in a leading role. But warning...this film is
depressing don't watch it for it "feel good factor"
