I once composed a poem about rubber trees continuing to exist in the form of the soles of my sneakers.
I lost it, but it was very grandiose in its prose, very evocatively-so, and perhaps I poured it on much too thick to just glorify a pair of basketball shoes.
Hopefully, I've learned from that experience not to ......... what's that one word for making scenarios grander than they actually are?
