A more relevant summary: Imagine if there was a version of TFP based around sharing images and emphasising text less, allows anonymous posting, is effectively unmoderated, and gets 200,000 posts per day ranging from icanhascheezburger pictures to porn and gore.
Those that frequent that board are all-together referred to as Anonymous and form the collective freudian Superego and Id of the internet. They might help the police find an animal abuser or they might invade somewhere and fuck with the natives. The ONLY thing they care about is the Lulz and their only motivation is preserving and producing it.
To quote Grant Stoddard /b/ is "simultaneously refreshing and defiling". It's comparable in both content and predictability to a slurpee dispensor that randomly seasons your pina colada with either a $20, chocolate sprinkles, or horse semen.
