A few weeks ago, I wrote in my blog about a WWII-era German boxcar that we came across on a trip to the library. I went back to take pictures of it, but the day was so pretty and the setting so banal that I only liked the detail shots I did. It's not clear whether this is an actual boxcar that carried prisoners to concentration camps or whether it is just typical of one. We couldn't get inside of it that day, but last week it was parked in front of my school and I was able to walk inside for a minute. It's very chilling - still impossible to wrap my head around the Holocaust.
