My dad used to get upset at every little pessimistic joke Jon Stewart would make about the war. He'd wave his arms and shout out the term 'anti-american' every few minutes. Stewart was happy that the war was going badly. He was taking joy in the misery of American soldiers.
I wonder why I'm reminded of that hysterical reaction to a bunch of stupid fucking jokes told by a mediocre comedian. Probably nothing.
