I get dehydration headaches as well. Like after working outside in the yard on a hot day. I never get the headache WHILE working, just right afterward. Maybe as long as the heart is pumping strongly it keeps the blood vessels from constricting, then when I go indoors and relax, the headache comes.
Might explain why you don't have a headache during sex, but it shows up right afterward.

And dehydration reduces blood volume, which can lower blood pressure.

Vigorous intercourse is a lot more physically demanding and sweat producing/dehydrating. If I'm in the right mood, I can give myself a solo orgasm while hardly moving at all.
