I went into town smiling inwards, not a big white toothsy outside appearance of a grin! In doing so, I had a great time. I was gently floating around looking at the tourists and shoppers, and at the same time, in my own world. I was there for there, for the moment. I met an old lady while in the queue for the ladies toliet, and she told me she had come from far away, I told her I had come from the other end of town, and didnt intend to come here, except I took the wrong turn (story of my life I briefly thought - even though there is really no wrong turn, or so I know.
Then I was trying on a coat, and so was another girl - very pretty, yet you could sense she was lacking in confidence. She was encouraging about the coat I tried on, saying it was lovely on me, while we both smiled together, as her and double breasted coats dont match due to her frontal armoury. Anyway, two fleeting strangers who for moments were not strangers. There is good all around, sometimes we have to be in a special places in our hearts, and anywhere in the world to find it. Sometimes it requires effort and meaningfulness. And the added bonus was it took me away from the hurt which was thrown upon by an innocent person in my life yesterday evening. So thank you today. And I did come home empty handed!
