I don't want to get into a shouting match, but the above statement is wrong. It is so false that it makes my heart skip a beat.
Black holes do not suck, they "pull down" because the supermassive collapsing star is so colossal and accumulating so much mass at such a rapid clip, that it becomes the densest object in a universe, virtually warping time, space and gravity itself as it engulfs all around it.
It's like a magnet that so violently reacts with matter around it that it would compress itself into a smaller object than it originally began forth from, yet is denser than a thousand suns.
