The whole tunnel system is around 300 km long. I read some reports from explorers and at some points you are serveral kilometers away from the next exit.

Very interesting, I had no idea they were that massive. How great would it be to pack up a tent, head in and not come out until you've explored all 300 km! On a side note, why are all the really awesome places to explore so flipping far away from me!
all joking aside, someday I'd love to get overseas and see some of this stuff.
