I take it that you're not a woman?
A woman's reasoning for choosing to have a breast reduction isn't easily discussed. It's likely quite personal. It could have something to do with physiology, or it could simply be that she doesn't feel their size is right for her body. Regardless of your take on the situation, her happiness is really the only thing anyone should consider. A breast reduction is NOT the type of elective surgery any woman would choose to have because "everyone else is doing it" as you imply.
The amount of breast soreness a woman experiences during her cycle is typically proportional to the size of her breasts. It's enough to make me want to rip off my breasts every stinkin' month, and I'm honestly not that large. Also, 36h would give most women back-aches. Doubly so if they're thin. So, yes, I think breast reduction is a WONDERFUL voluntary surgery, and I give a thumbs-up to any woman who decides to do it.
