Growing up with mechanics and carpenters, I can vouch to the honesty of this post.

HYDRAULIC FLOOR JACK:
Used for lowering an automobile to the ground after you have installed your new brake shoes, trapping the jack handle firmly under the bumper.

Can also be used to crush your delicate tools. I've crushed Welding helmets, glasses, work lights and anything else that likes to roll or bounce under the tire when you drop it.
