omg my bf bought me a new car for New Year's!!!!
No. I'm lying. But I'm tired of seeing those commercials where people appear to be receiving new vehicles from their significant others or parents for a holiday / birthday gift. I understand the whole marketing dealio but I know of no one who's received a brand new car for a present. Nor do I know of anyone who's given one. Has anyone here been on the giving or receiving end of such a surprise?
