I have a sister, and another sister who died.
But thats nothing to do with it. Certainly the buffoon who acted like this is not a man, he is a spiteful little child. I really dont see anything funny about these actions that probably left a teenage girl completely humiliated and in tears. I must be some kind of freak that I dont find hurting people funny I suppose.
As for his motivation, if his parents are so anti booze,I guess he shouldnt leave his booze in his room.I cant speak from experience, cos Ive never been "grounded". But if he is old enough to drink 12 beers he should be old enough to stand up to his parents, not hurt his sister as a proxy for his anger at them.
