I agree. Just tried the improved Udyr. Wow, I can not only take on Yi, but chase him down! Granted he doesn't put out the numbers of course Yi can, but he's much more survivable. Its really funny to see Yi's come to gank me as Udyr, then turn around in surprise as I'm not running and chewing through his hps faster, then see him turn tail and run and boom, bear form biatch! hehe.
Udyrs main problem, much like nidalees cougar form, is that it has little place in team vs team skilled fights where there's tons of CC around. And if udyr can't shift/attack then he's fairly weak.
