Experimentation =/= creation. Are you also claiming that the United States created syphilis? (For the record, I have never seen any proof to support, nor do I believe, that the United States government would deliberately infect people with HIV.)

Yes. And science is also responsible for antibiotics and preventative/emergency medicine (among other things). These scientific achievements are directly responsible for saving and bettering billions of lives. 99.9% of the people alive today are living better/longer lives as a direct result of science.
